Saint Joseph of Arimathea

Saint Joseph of Arimathea asked Pontius Pilate if he could remove Christ’s body after the Crucifixion and laid it to rest in his own newly made tomb (Matthew 27:57-60).

Because he provided a proper burial for Jesus he has become the patron saint of undertakers.
