Pieter Franchoijs
Franchoijs was born and worked in Malines. He also worked in Paris, and in 1631 was in Fontainebleau. By 1635 he had returned to his home town and from 1646 he was employed by Archduke Leopold-Wilhelm, the Governor of the Southern Netherlands. He was a portrait and figure painter.
