Articulation Prize - England

The Articulation Prize for England takes place annually between January and March across the nine regions.

Over 1000 young people deliver a 10-minute illustrated presentation to an audience about a work of art, artefact or architecture of their choice in a museum or gallery setting.

How to apply

Applications for the Articulation Prize England 2027 are now open.

Please note: The Articulation Prize is free for all schools / colleges however, due to updates being made to our online booking system, the payment page will still appear for independent schools. Please select the invoice option rather than paying online whilst we fix this over the next few weeks.

Please get in touch with the team at [email protected] to enquire about spaces in specific regions.

Applications close on Monday 28 September for schools and colleges in London and in the South of England (excluding schools and colleges in Devon and Cornwall). Schools in other regions are asked to submit an online application before Monday 19 October 2026. If heats are fully booked, applications may close at an earlier date.

Regional heats and finals for the Prize will be held across regions in England from January to March 2027, in partnership with 19 museums and galleries.
