Notes and copies of correspondence on subjects including the proposed £8,000 donation to the National Gallery for the development of a scientific research laboratory, the condition of the Castle Howard Holbein, the organisation of museum directors on the boards of the National Art Collections fund, the distribution of English pictures between the Tate and National Gallery and the proposed acquisition of an alleged Rembrandt (which Clark considers to be a Lievens).
