The aggregate demands for books at the Gallery's library are not likely to be more than the current year (1883-1884). 20 or 30 volumes of periodicals will need binding. The only printed book supplied to the Department by H.M. Stationery and sold to the public is catalogues of pictures in the National Gallery.
