Description

From 7 Via del Risorgimento, Pisa [in Lady Eastlake's hand]: Eastlake agrees that Zen should send the Carpaccio (NG750) by land; the frame will go by sea; he writes of the English equivalent for its payment. Through Gualanti of Bologna, Eastlake is buying a Giovanni Santi from Count Mazza of Ferrara (NG751); he gives details of how it will be acquired. Eastlake is very ill. The agents Gualandi and Cittadella need to be paid.
