Photograph of The Consort of Musicke directed by Anthony Rooley. The band featured as part of the National Gallery's Christmas event 'The Minstrel's Gallery' from the 8 December 1982 - 15 January 1983. Evening concert to perform 15th century madrigals and consort songs in the Italian Medieval and Renaissance rooms. Attached is a National Gallery Press Notice of the event, and summary of events. Figures include (L-R) Evelyn Tubb (soprano), Andrew King (tenor), Richard Wistreich (bass), Mary Nichols (alto), Anthony Rooley (director with theorbo), Emma Kirby (soprano) and Joseph Cornwall (tenor).
