Room hung with unglazed Italian pictures, including Mantegna’s ‘Agony in the Garden’ (NG1417), Giovanni Bellini’s ‘Agony in the Garden’ (NG726), Mantegna’s ‘The Holy Family with St John’ (NG5641) and ‘The Virgin and Child with Saints’ (NG274), Cosimo Tura’s ‘The Virgin and Child Enthroned’ (NG772) and Giovanni Bellini’s ‘The Dead Christ supported by Angels’ (NG3912).
