We are undertaking some vital building work and improvements to a few rooms at the Gallery. While we carry out this work, some rooms will be closed and some paintings will be moved to a safer place to protect them.
With the new Research Centre, opening in 2028, we can share new stories about our artworks through a suite of spaces for lectures and events along with a library that will all be open to the public, benefitting everyone.
We recommend that if you are looking for a specific artist or painting, please check the website before you visit for the current location and please check the floorplan for up-to-date room closures. Thank you.
With a dedicated family space at weekends and holidays, there’s a place to connect, play and find out more about some of your favourite paintings.
