Abstract

The examination and treatment of Perugino's three panels from the Certosa of Pavia altarpiece, about 1496–1500, in the National Gallery, London. The text is divided into three sections: 1) History and treatment: alteration and reclamation; 2) Panel treatment; 3) Scientific examination.
