About

When Gallery 29 first opened in 1931, it was known as the Venetian Room. Now, 200 years later, after a refurbishment in time for NG200, the space has taken on many different forms.

Dr Carlo Corsato guides us on this walking headset tour, revealing the many guises of Gallery 29, and sharing his knowledge of the Venetian masters and the beauty of 'colorito'.

Highlights include Bellini’s 'Assassination of Saint Peter Martyr', Titian’s 'Diana and Callisto', and El Greco’s 'Christ driving the Traders from the Temple'.

This tour will move through the Gallery, using headsets. Please meet in Annenberg Court where headsets and folding stools will be available.
