Entry to the Gallery to view the collection is free – admission is now through the Portico Entrance.

We strongly recommend you book a ticket in advance to save time on arrival. Walk-up tickets are also available - you might need to wait when we are busy.

The Sainsbury Wing is currently closed to complete exciting changes to improve the welcome we provide to millions of visitors each year - find out more.

During this closure many of the paintings have been redisplayed across the Gallery. Please do check the painting pages for their current location.

Please be aware, you may need to queue for our free exhibitions.
