Members' talk and private view
About
Expert guide Maurizio Patti leads this exclusive out-of-hours talk about 'The Last Caravaggio'.
We'll be hosting two talks: the first at 8am for early risers seeking pre-work inspiration and morning motivation, and the second at 9am for those wanting a kickstart to the exhibition before the Gallery opens at 10am.
Your ticket includes tea, coffee and breakfast pastries, followed by an in-depth talk from Maurizio, and time to enjoy a private view of the exhibition afterwards.
Caravaggio made some of his most striking works during his final, turbulent years, and few paintings are better placed to illustrate this than his last-known painting, 'The Martyrdom of Saint Ursula' (1610, Gallerie d’Italia, Naples); the focus of this exhibition. Join us to contemplate this remarkable masterpiece, and explore the troubled end to Caravaggio's life.
If you can't make this event, more dates are available on 3 July and 10 July.
