Also includes correspondence concerning the original establishment of the Friends; a copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association (incorporated 20 November 1969) and a note from Stephenson Harwood and Tatham explaining the Society's Articles (December 1969).
Of note: Letters from Keith Andrews (Keeper, National
Gallery, Scotland) and Michael Levey (National Gallery, London) expressing concerns about the expenditure of the money collected by the Friends.
