Letter (1 Jan 1883) from Briton Rivière to [Sir William] Agnew sending him good wishes for the new year and thanking him for the paper he has sent him with a speech Agnew has made. Rivière states that he is glad the speech mentioned the "Women's property bill" as he feels it is "one of the most important measures of the century" but frequently overlooked.
