Letter from George du Maurier to George William Agnew regretting that he will not be able to attend the "B.F.A.D." [possibly the Artists' General Benevolent Institution dinner] as they "play the deuce with my tum-tum." A pen and ink cartoon of a reclining male figure leaning against an outsize dog is included on the letter.
