The following On Sale numbers can be found in this volume (for more information about o/s classifications refer to the "On Sale Books" description at NGA27/3):
- 1-323 (1872-1880)
- 200-986 (1877-1880)
- 794-1135 (1881); numbers 794-986 are duplicates of same numbers in 1880 with updated disposal information
- 1136-2929 (1882-1891)
- 24-4296 (dating between 1878-1879)
- 203-207 (1879)
- The o/s number given in the list here are not always ordered sequentially; the ranges given are a rough guide only. However, by 1880, Bo/s numbers are the most common and are consistently arranged in chronological order.
- Some entries appear more than once. For example, Wo/s 200 (Steeple) appears at least three times within this volume, and is also recorded with a Bo/s number.
