Description
The private ledgers and cash book of Charles Morland Agnew (commonly known as Morland Agnew) created during his working life, retirement, and by the executors of his will. Included within the ledgers are capital accounts, shares and investments, finances relating to the Durrants farm, and the settlement of his will for named family members. Finally, the cash book records the cash account of the executors of his will.
Each entry records the date of transaction, description, occassionally a page number of an associated day or cash book, and the amount. Only two volumes (NGA27/14/9/3-4) split accounts into debits and credits.
