Letter to Lord Hardinge

Enclosing a copy of the letter sent to the Lords Commissioners, which concerns Board of Trustees opinions on the Blenheim pictures and the price they are will to pay for the pictures considered desireable. He also encloses a copy of the letter from Fred Davis to Mr Burton concerning the purchase of eleven pictures from the Duke of Marlborough's collection selected by the Trustees as well as the letter from the Duke of Marlborough granting authority to Mr Davis to proceed with the offer and enter into a treaty with the Gallery to purchase the paintings.
