Requesting the transfer of funds from the National Gallery vote for 1881-82 to meet exceptional costs, such as the framing of pictures from the Green Bequest,
and the glazing of Sebastiano del Piombo’s ‘Raising of Lazarus’, and also to cover the travel expenses of the Director while he is in Italy.
