Having contacted the Treasury solicitor regarding the issue of how best to estimate the commercial value of a picture [see also NG6/6/354], Eastlake has now established that the best course of action would be to contact the Inland Revenue. This can either be done by the Gallery or by Nuford Shaw Roscoe and Co. If Roscoe contacts the Inland Revenue themselves they should refer to previous correspondence with the Gallery.
