Forwarding the Trustees' minute of 4 Jul 1870 and a list of pictures given or bequeathed that the Director feels may be withdrawn from the Gallery without impairing the efficiency thereof. The Trustees hope their Lordships will not overlook the claims of National Galleries of Edinburgh and Dublin for receiving superfluous pictures from London.
