Letter concerning a painting by John Hoppner: Offered for sale

Eight letters from Rosine Stephens to Edward Poynter offering for sale two portraits, one of 'Marquis de Sivrac' and the other of his Wife, both dated 1794. The pictures was sent to the Gallery for inspection and subsequently declined. One letter from Dolman and Sons arranging to collect the paintings and return them to the owner.
