The exhibition was organised by the Arts Council in Rooms XXXIV-XXXVI (now the East Wing cafe). There are no files for this exhibition at the National Gallery. The archives of the Arts Council are held in the Archive of Art and Design at the Victoria and Albert Museum. A file on this exhibition is also held at the Tate's Hyman Kreitman Research Centre (ref. TG92/51).
