Photograph of a watercolour by Henry Edward Tidmarsh wash and bodycolour 100 x 170mm. Guildhall Library W2/TRA 98272. Probably Room XI (41) which was hung with the Wynn Ellis bequest in 1883 and in 1885. Bottom row includes Claude's 'Landscape with Aeneas at Delos' (NG1018) and Canaletto's 'Venice: The Feast Day of S. Roch' (NG937) both part of the bequest of 1876. The view looks through to Room XII (34), then hung with Dutch and Flemish paintings. Copy photograph: Guildhall Library. NG neg. M519/32A.
