Administrative history

Sadie Lereculey assisted Howard Ferguson and Myra Hess in organising the concerts that took place at the National Gallery during the Second World War. Lereculey worked for Ibbs and Tillett, music agents. Ferguson and Hess were both on the Executive Committee for the organisation of concerts at the National Gallery. They planned the programmes and then passed information to Ibbs and Tillett to book the concert performers.
