Letter (6 Aug 1887) from Lord Rosebery, written from Lansdowne House to Mr Agnew. Rosebery thanks him for his letter and states that he would like to come to Manchester, enquiring how long the Agnew's gallery remains open. He thanks Agnew for information about "Lord F," refers to a "fine Nollekens.. of Fox" in his posession and states that he should like Agnew to show him a portrait of George Canning by John Hoppner. Rosebery makes a humorous reference to Agnew's "butterfly existence" and to himself as a "worker bee."
