Informing him that Mr Poynter has been consulted respecting the
suggestion made in his letter of 11 Feb 1895 and explaining that due to
the price placed upon his picture the Director does not consider it one
which he could recommend to the Trustees for examination and declining
his offer and requesting that the picture be sent for as soon as
possible.
