About

Join us for an exclusive Chapel Down wine tasting, where we will explore one of England’s most iconic and pioneering wine producers.

Nestled in the heart of Kent, Chapel Down has grown from humble beginnings. Its first vines were planted in 1977 by viticulture expert Stephen Skelton and, nearly 50 years on, it has grown into the largest producer of English wine, with over 950 acres under vine and a production capacity of 2.4 million bottles annually.

Chapel Down has played a pivotal role in shaping the English wine industry, earning international acclaim and even gracing royal celebrations, such as the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales and the King’s Coronation.

Known for its elegant sparkling wines made using the traditional method, the vineyard also produces a diverse range of still wines, showcasing the versatility of English terroir.

Today, Chapel Down stands as a symbol of innovation and excellence, leading the charge in a rapidly growing and globally respected English wine sector.

Their ambassador will showcase six wines, both still and sparkling, including their prestige 'Kit’s Coty' Chardonnay and 'Kit’s Coty' Blanc de Blancs. Light snacks will also be served to accompany the wines.
