About

Joseph Mallord William Turner had a masterful understanding of technical innovations and saw the modern, industrial world through Romantic eyes – hence his ability to ignore them if the painting required it.

To mark the 250th anniversary of Turner's birth, join us for a live discussion in the Salon between engineers David Andrews and Rob Bell who will explore Turner’s connection to engineering.
