Property Received Books detail property owned by clients (pictures, drawings, engravings etc.) received by Agnew's. Entries are indexed by the owner of the artwork and record the following information:
- Date received ][ Owner ][ Waiting Order number ][ Description/medium ][ Artist ][ Title ][ Value ][ Remarks ][ How disposed of (including date)
Entries may also record the owner's address, and exhibition or auction lot references, and folios recording property owned by a particular individual, or loaned to exhibitions (for example, Burlington X-Ray Exhibition, 1969; Turner Loan Exhibition, 1967) are found at the end of some volumes. Finally, versions of some entries may also be found within the 'Received' pages of the Goods Received & Delivered Books at NGA27/8.
