Description
A letter written to Geoffrey Agnew from Alan Agnew (the chairman of Bradbury, Agnew & Co., owners of Punch) detailing which members of the Agnew family had been involved in the aforesaid company. He states that the Salford City Reporter confused Thomas Agnew senior with his son Thomas junior; it was the latter, along with his brothers William and John Henry, who came into Punch in 1872 (the year after Thomas senior died). He also provides the following details:
- Their brother Charles married Edith Bradbury
- Their sister Laura married W. Hardwick Bradbury (Edith's brother)
