26 July - The Triumph of Art
On 26 July, the free party came to Trafalgar Square, London for a family-friendly final event with contributions from all four nations.
In the months leading up to the London event, we revelled with the gods in Dundee, paraded through the streets of Llandudno, blended folklore and rave history in Derry/Londonderry and marvelled at Plymouth’s local strong people!
Celebrations kicked off with a Bacchanalian procession at 11am on King Charles Street, moving along Whitehall to Trafalgar Square where there was live music, performances, making workshops, opportunities to meet familiar faces from the collection and a big birthday tea party.
Our finale party saw us celebrate art in all its forms in what was a day full of fun and surprises.
