A three-day scholarly conference Rembrandt Now: Technical Practice, Conservation and Research (13–15 November 2014) on Rembrandt’s technical practice for painting was hosted at the National Gallery to coincide with the exhibition Rembrandt: The Late Works (15 October 2014–18 January 2015) at the National Gallery in London and co-organised with the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam,

A selection of the papers presented at the conference have been brought together in an online publication available to open here.

This volume was generously sponsored by the Siebold Stichting Foundation, which also provided full support for the conference.
