File containing retained copies of letters from Fry to 'The Times', 15 Oct 1965, and 'Country Life', 30 Oct 1965, relating to the recent sale of the Coalport dinner service belonging to JJA at Sotheby's in October 1965 and noting that there is little doubt that the silhouette vignettes depict domestic scenes of the Angerstein family as he owns a number of named sketches of various family members; correspondence with Geoffrey Godden regarding the identification of the silhouette decorations; photographs of two drawings (both reproduced in Fry's article 'The Angersteins of Woodlands') and his outline sketches of various dinner service pieces with his handwritten attributions of the grandchildren depicted.

The dinner service was sold at Christie's on 7 Jul 2022, lot 19; Fry's collection of sketches had been sold at Sotheby's on 8 Jul 2021, lot 174.
