Description
Further response to the issues regarding the condition of paintings within the
gallery raised in [NG6/6/873]. Eastlake states that discussions with Bently have
offered no new potential causes for damage beyond the heat of the gallery. A
description of the effects of the excess heat on the paintings is given.
Eastlake notes that very little actual blistering is present on paintings within
the gallery, despite these problems.
