Description
From Hotel du Louvre Paris: Eastlake has written to Prof Vogt in Geneva that he cannot speak on the Pettenkofer process without the inventor's permission. Eastlake describes the method, gives his views on it, and tells of the problem of its publicity. He probably will not have sufficient funds to buy at the Pourtales sale.
