Custodial history
The press cuttings were originally held in a series within the Library but were transferred to the Archive for detailed cataloguing. Most of the more recent cuttings were originally compiled by the Gallery Press department. The cuttings were gradually transferred to the Library as they were collected and formed a series of history files containing a range of material produced during individual years. Items originally held in the history files which are not press cuttings, such as press releases, floor plans, photographs and annual reports, are now catalogued in seperate archive series.
