Saint Hubert

Saint Hubert is the patron saint of hunters. He is also associated with protection against rabies.  

While out hunting, he is said to have had a vision of a stag with a crucifix between its antlers. Hubert devoted his life to Christ, eventually becoming Bishop of Liège.
