NG Citizens: Session Four

Session Four was held online, bringing together the 50 Members of the Assembly to develop a strong and ambitious set of draft principles in response to the key challenges facing the Gallery.

The day began with a short introduction from the Director of Public Engagement, encouraging critical reflection on where the Gallery could do better and how meaningful change might be achieved.

Building on the principles and ideas for action developed across Sessions One to Three, Members worked together to refine and strengthen their thinking. By the end of the session, they had developed 21 emerging principles and 19 emerging ideas for action.

As the NG Citizens Assembly draws to a close, Session Five will provide an opportunity for Members to take these ideas forward and shape them into a final set of principles and actions for the Gallery to implement.
