Be inspired to think and work like an artist
Key Stages 3-5
Led by our Artist Educators these gallery-based workshops develop skills in creativity, dexterity and investigation. Participants take inspiration from the paintings around them to experiment and create their own work.
Please choose a theme from our available gallery workshops below and book online.

Overseas schools: £100-£150 per group
Please note, we operate a 30-day cancellation policy
Please let us know more than 30 days prior to your session if you need to cancel a booking, or more than 14 days prior if you need to reschedule. Cancellations made with 30 or fewer days’ notice, rescheduling with 14 or fewer days’ notice, and no-shows will incur a charge for UK schools and are non-refundable for overseas groups.
Some of our themes can be adapted for SEND groups, although you may be interested in our 'Sense and Explore' multisensory sessions, which are especially designed for SEND groups, and allow for flexibility and co-planning with group leaders.
Please contact us for more information about how we can meet your group’s needs. We recommend a maximum group size of 12.
If you would prefer to design and lead your own Gallery session, you are welcome to visit self-guided. We have some self-led activity ideas available to download. For further information on visiting the Gallery, please email hello@nationalgallery.org.uk.
