Murals reMastered is an ambitious nationwide collaboration bringing large-scale recreations of paintings from the nation’s collection into new and unexpected spaces across the UK.
In collaboration with Global Street Art, leading contemporary street artists will reinterpret iconic paintings as larger-than-life murals on street walls and building façades. These striking works bring world-class art out of the National Gallery and into everyday public life, welcoming thousands of new audiences – many of whom may never have visited the Gallery before.
From busy high streets to overlooked corners, each mural invites discovery, curiosity and connection with local communities – right on the streets of the UK.
