Sacred citrus

A contemplative herbal workshop exploring citrus as both a sacred and medicinal plant within the Spanish monastic world of Zurbarán.

Inspired by the quiet intensity of Zurbarán's female saints and the vibrant presence of Seville oranges, this session explores bitter orange, lemon, bergamot, neroli and orange blossom. Guests will create a bespoke devotional oil, solid perfume or citrus aromatherapy blend, guided by calm observation and sensory engagement.
