This tour traces the artistic transformations of the 18th century, from the refined elegance and charm of Rococo art to the intellectual ideals of the Enlightenment and the dramatic upheavals of the Revolutionary era. Through key works from the collection, we will examine how the artistic, intellectual and political developments of the 18th century redefined Europe and helped shape the modern world.
