About

Join us for this one-off, special reading with acclaimed author and art historian Susan Owens, featuring her 2026 book 'Constable's Year: An Artist in Changing Seasons'. The book shines a spotlight on Constable’s iconic paintings.

Drawing on new research, Susan offers fresh insight into Constable’s deep engagement with nature, atmosphere and the changing seasons. She will read excerpts from her book, followed by a Q&A session and the chance to buy a copy and and have it signed by the author. Join us in the Salon in Supporters’ House to hear Constable’s world come to life.
