About

In this month’s Talk and Draw, artist and gallery educator Daisy Luck joins Take One Picture Programmer Catherine Heath to explore Canaletto’s A Regatta on the Grand Canal, this year’s focus for the National Gallery’s Take One Picture programme.

First, listen to a introduction to the painting, then respond by creating your own work in this short, artist-led drawing session.

Please have to hand some A4 or A3 paper (if you have watercolour paper or card we would recommend that, but it is not essential) and any watercolours, oil pastels or coloured pencils you have.

The session will take place online and will last about one hour.

This session will be accompanied by live speech-to-text transcription supported by Stagetext.
