About
The National Gallery houses one of the finest collections of Spanish paintings outside of Spain, ranging from the 15th century to the early 20th century.
By looking at masterpieces in the permanent collection, this tour will provide context to the UK’s first major monographic exhibition devoted to the famous Spanish painter, Francisco de Zurbarán.
From the striking still lifes of the Baroque period to a dark and poignant tavern scene from 1910, we will explore four centuries of Spanish painting by some of its greatest artists.
