2B Or Not 2B Collective return to the Roden Centre for Creative Learning’s Social Space with two life drawing sessions for Pride Month. Two paintings of saints in our collection, ‘Self Portrait as Saint Catherine of Alexandria’ by Artemisia Gentileschi and ‘Saint Sebastian’ by Gerrit van Honthorst, which raise the subject of gender, are the inspiration for this evening’s life models.
These fun and informal sessions, accompanied by music, are suitable for all levels of ability.
Materials are generously provided by Stabilo.
2B Or Not 2B Collective
2B Or Not 2B Collective is a People of Colour (POC) run art group that focuses on uplifting and increasing the exposure of marginalised and underrepresented tutors and models within the art industry via welcoming creative workshops. They are based in London but also stream to an international audience, and have one of the largest drawing reference libraries of diverse life models. They have worked with numerous major institutions including the National Gallery, Tate Modern, Kew Gardens and the V&A.

Tickets include entry to the National Gallery. This event takes place in the Social Space, which is on Level 2 of the Roden Centre for Creative Learning.
