Immerse yourself in art and music at this online experience.
Artist Gayna Pelham guides you through a selection of paintings paired with music, from Western European classical to jazz, pop and world music from Africa to India. This is an immersive experience that deepens how you see and hear both art forms.
We recommend finding a quiet space and wearing stereo headphones for this event.
Gayna has worked with orchestras, composers and musicians, and now incorporates music into her drawing classes and wellbeing workshops. This event is part of her ongoing work to blend art and music – building on past talks and projects at galleries including the National Gallery – while offering Members a fresh take on these creative and artistic connections.
Speaker
Gayna Pelham is an educator, artist and art historian with over 15 years' experience of working in galleries and museums, including the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and Wallace Collection.
