About

Step into the world of Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller through a guided forest bathing session inspired by his woodland scene.

We invite you to engage more deeply with the painting by exploring its atmosphere, detail and sense of place through slow looking and sensory awareness. In this immersive session with forest bathing guide Lisa Duncan, guided prompts will open up new ways of perceiving the natural elements within the work, offering a fresh and immersive way to connect with the art.

While centred on the artwork, the session may also offer a gentle sense of restoration through focused attention.

We invite you to join the event from a space where you can open a window to the outdoors or perhaps bring a few houseplants close to enhance the experience.

Your guide

Lisa Duncan is a forest bathing guide and lifestyle herbalist creating nature-based experiences that deepen attention and connection to the natural world. Lisa's work draws on sensory awareness, plant knowledge and seasonal practice, and she has led sessions in England, Japan and the USA, including California and her native Hawaii.
